I’m Elian Van Cutsem. Through ElianCodes BV I ship my own products and take on a limited amount of consultancy — often alongside my work as CTO at Vulpo BV. One founder, real products, no agency theatre.
I speak at conferences and write about dev. See elian.codes.
Who
ElianCodes BV is registered in Ghent, Belgium. I write the code. There is no account-manager layer and no unnamed team behind the work.
Products I run
The public products are described on their own pages. The short versions below are the same copy as the rest of the site.
- Kluut! — A pixel RPG in the style of the Game Boy Advance classics, set in the real city of Ghent: catch more than 100 Kreaturen, have a pint and break the curse of the Noose Bearer.
- Ringske — A wedding planner for Flemish couples: guest list, RSVPs through one QR code, the Belgian deadlines, budget and a wedding site — on the web and on Android.
- Rolleke — A digital disposable camera for events: 36 shots, no preview, no deleting — the album is only revealed once the party is over.
- Conference Ratings — Honest, verified ratings of tech conferences by the developers who actually attended them — with a review console for organisers.
How I work
Product work comes first. Consultancy is limited and sits next to the CTO role at Vulpo. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so.
